Migrating from Google or Microsoft 365

This document describes how to migrate from signing in with Google or Microsoft 365 to passwordless sign in with Groove.id

Signing in for the First Time

To get started with Groove.id, go to the sign in URL that your computer person gave you. In this example, it will be something like https://signin.COMPANY_NAME.com or https://COMPANY_NAME.auth.groove.id. If you don’t know your sign in URL, go to https://groove.id and press the Login button and enter your email address.

If your company uses Google or Office 365, you’ll be asked to sign in via Google or Microsoft, respectively.

Otherwise, you’ll be asked for your email address.

The next step is to set up your mobile phone. Click the Setup button.

Next, install the Groove.id app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, or you can enter your phone number and we’ll text you a link to the app.

When the app launches, point the camera at the setup code. Confirm the information that appears on your phone.

Next steps

Once everyone in your company has completed these steps, your administrator will switch over to signing in with Groove.id. From that point forward, you’ll use the Groove.id mobile app to sign in rather than Google or Microsoft.
