DESCRIPTION

Runs the Active Directory account management daemon. This program connects to Groove.id and executes commands from the service to list, read, create, remove, or modify accounts in active directory.

FLAGS

-service-token=SERVICE_TOKEN

Specifies the service token for this Active Directory instance. Obtain the service token from the Groove.id console. The service token deconflicts multiple Active Directory daemons, as well as authenticating the daemon the first time it connects to the service.

-app=APP

The identifier of the app to work on. This flag is not required if -service-token is provided.

-config=PATH_OR_URI

Provide the location of configuration data for this program. The argument can be a local file path or a registry path. If not provided, the default is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Groove.id\Config on Windows and /etc/grooveid/grooveid.conf on Linux and Mac.

-device-key=DEVICE_KEY

The URI of the device key. Device keys are the secrets that identify a machine to Groove.id’s servers. On Windows, DEVICE_KEY is the name of a registry key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Groove.id\\Keys containing the (encrypted) device keys. On Linux and Mac, DEVICE_KEY is a path to a local file.

-read-only

Do not allow the agent to modify Active Directory.

-server=SERVER

The URL for the Groove.id server. If not provided, the default of https://api.groove.id is used.

-service

This flag signals that the program is to run as a service under the service control manager.

-tenant=TENANT

The identifier of the tenant to work on. This flag is not required if -service-token is provided.

-trace

Causes the program to print the contents of each request sent to and response received from, the Groove.id API.
